A clear brief helps your designer understand the product before making visual decisions. You do not need a long document: useful, accurate details matter more than volume.
Start with the product
Include the product name, its intended use and the audience you want to reach. Share dimensions, materials and the features you want shoppers to understand. Separate confirmed facts from ideas that still need checking.
Gather your image assets
Provide the clearest product photos you have, including front, side and detail views. Original files give your designer more flexibility than screenshots. Mention any parts or accessories that must appear in the visuals.
Explain the brand direction
Share your logo, brand colours and fonts. A few references can explain a preferred mood or layout. Add a sentence about what you like in each reference so the designer understands the intention.
Agree the deliverables
List the images or modules you need, where they will be used and your preferred deadline. Discuss revisions and file formats before work starts. This gives both sides a clear basis for the project.
